The Kavalan products are certified for use on scaffolded buildings, construction sites and promotional and branding applications

Products from the Kavalan range of PVC-free large-format materials have obtained global fire safety certification.

The products are Kavalan Sunlight Weldable and Kavalan Spiderweb 300 now boast Warringtonfire fire resistant certification Certifire TS62. Kavalan owner Taya Groups says this endorses Kavalan’s outdoor materials as a high-quality, trusted and responsible alternative to traditional PVC.

Stark Digital supplies Kavalan solutions in New Zealand. Dave Raos, managing director of Stark Digital, says, “Fire resistance really becomes an advantage with the PVC free when used for indoor advertising like drop banners or wall graphics. It is here that the requirement is more pressing for fire resistant rated product with new regulations introduced.”

Vincent Lin, vice president, Taya Groups, says the certification distinguishes PVC-free Kavalan building wrap materials from any competition. These products will now bear the Certifire mark. As a result, they can be used on any scaffolded buildings and construction sites. In addition, they have use for other promotional and branding applications.
