PrintNZ will host two Women in Print events next month in Auckland and Wellington.
Sponsored by BJ Ball, these events have sold out year after year. The Auckland Women in Print evening will take place at Sorrento in the Park on October 12 and the Wellington event will take place at the West Plaza Hotel on October 13. Ruth Cobb, general manager for PrintNZ, says, “This event is specifically for the women in our industry. It gives us a great opportunity to network, away from the bustle of the work day.”
Jo Taylor, this year’s speaker at Women in Print will deliver a presentation called If you can dream it you can do it. Taylor, started Latitude magazine from her farming home just south of Ashburton in 2007. She saw an opportunity for high quality magazine featuring positive stories about Cantabrians and the local area. With subscribers up and down the country the magazine has gone from strength to strength. In 2015, she received the New Zealand Enterprising Rural Women Award for her efforts with Latitude.
