Durst will launch a new pure water-based white inkjet ink for its Koening & Bauer Durst Delta SPC corrugated press at drupa 2024 in Düsseldorf in May.
Only available for the Durst SPC 130, the new white ink delivers the combination of best in class opacity, sustainability and the potential to target primary food packaging, setting a new benchmark in the market.
Wolfgang Knotz, managing director for Durst Austria, says, “I’m happy to announce that our new pure water-based white inkjet ink is especially developed for corrugated paper printing. The ink provides best in class opacity thanks to our outstanding knowledge in the formulation of inorganic pigmented inks and our cross-industrial knowledge between ceramic inkjet technology and corrugated printing.
“The combination of high opacity, sustainability and even the possibility to target primary food packaging is unmatched in the market and it’s only available for our Durst SPC 130,” says Knotz.
