The first of them start in Melbourne in February and the New Zealand academy will be held in Auckland in June.

The range of programmes will include the Maximising Flexi Seminar, the VersaWorks TM Print and Cut Seminar and Digital Print for Sales and Production.

Roland DG says the aim of the “easy-to-follow programmes” is to provide practical solutions to those involved in the digital print and engraving arena.

The Maximising Flexi Seminar, for instance, is for existing and potential users of flexi, with a focus on digital print utilising DesignCentral, maximising workflow efficiency and optimising colour potential.

Those attending will be taught to apply previously overlooked Flexi features and explore all the new updates for version 8. It will also highlight advanced vinyl and contour cutting techniques and matching monitor to print and customer’s colours to vinyl specs.

The VersaWorksTM Print & Cut seminar is designed for existing and potential users of Roland DG’s VersaWorksTM RIP software who want in-depth training on how to increase productivity, maintain their printer printer/cutters and prolong the performance of their investment.

This intensive one-day workshop will cover a wide variety of business opportunities based on the VersaWorkTM’s unique technology advantages. Roland DG lecturers will teach maintenance, media and fine-tuning tips, and will be available for detailed question and answer sessions.
