Now with a seventh staff member due to start soon, the screen printing company has just purchased a Gilco Agoa semi-automatic Squeegee Grinder to improve print quality and production turnaround times.

New Zealand agent for the Gilco range of products from Greatex International Ltd, is <i>Inky Fingers</i>' advertiser, ColsonCo Imaging Systems.

Graham's RES says he's delighted with the new squeegee sharpener because it has improved both production times and the quality of the prints he produces. The company has two full-time printers working flat out on corflute or vinyl signage and had previously out-sourced the squeegee sharpening.

Real Estate Signs is the preferred supplier of signage for three major real estate companies, and supplies signs for a range of uses in the building industry.

It was started in surplus factory space adjacent to the family's Monumental Stone business. The company has expanded so much, that the next step will be into larger premises, he adds.

The Squeegee Grinder is the third to be sold to a New Zealand screen printer and is one of a full range of accessories offered by Gilco.

ColsonCo director Trevor Colson says that Gilco's flagship of its screen printing machinery range is the high precision three quarter automatic Pierdra which with a reciprocating print table and a four pole parallel print head lifting system has proved a popular choice overseas, even in the European market.
