Business Franchise Group (BFG), the franchisor for Speedy Signs in New Zealand, has announced the addition of independently owned and operated Signarama New Zealand to its network of sign companies.
This ends any confusion for Speedy Signs branding. Grant Archibald, chief executive at BFG, explains, “The latest edition to the group has great significance as Signarama is also Speedy Signs global brand name. Up to now this name has not been available for our use in the New Zealand market as it had been controlled by an independent sign company.”
The change came about because Jared Percival recently purchased Signarama New Zealand. Percoival says that he saw a number of benefits in joining BFG’s franchise network. These include its strength in group purchasing, marketing and its ongoing operational and general business support. He says, “I’ve worked with some of the Speedy Signs stores on national projects and they stood out to me as a very professional operation, so joining the group made perfect sense.”
Business will continue as usual. Archibald adds, “Signarama will continue to operate under its brand and Speedy Signs will continue under its name.”
From its inception in 1998, Speedy Signs has expanded to 23 locations in New Zealnd, from Whangarei to Invercargill. It provides a full range of signage products as well as an installation service. As Archibald stated, Speedy Signs in New Zealand forms part of the global franchise giant Signarama, which operates in close to 1,000 locations, in over 40 countries.
