Durst Group and Vanguard Digital Printing Systems have collectively won seven Printing United Alliance 2022 Pinnacle Product Awards.

The announcement of the awards comes in the lead up to Printing United, which takes place in Las Vegas from October 19 to 21. Matt Ashman, managing director of Durst Oceania will attend the show. He says, “We are very proud that we have managed to achieve these great accolades which further prove the quality and reliability offered by our innovative and superior quality products.

Durst’s P5 TEX iSUB printer won the Roll-to-Roll Direct Disperse Ink on Textile category. Judges noted its ability to offer an integrated inline fixation for a one step direct to fabric printing process. the Pinnacle Product Award report says, ““The Durst iSUB contactless fixing technology ensures excellent colour consistency as well as extreme sharpness of detail in images and text, also blurring or bleeding of colour is eliminated.”

In the Single Pass Printers category, Durst’s Delta SPC 130 received recognition for its latest generation single-pass printing system for the corrugated industry and “combining a well-engineered mechanical design with easily accessible sub-assemblies and selected components to guarantee durable quality, high performance, versatility, low maintenance requirement and 24/7 print output reliability”.

The Vanguard VKH900-HS won the RTR/Hybrid/Flatbed New Technology category and roll-to-roll UV won the Roll-to-Roll UV (over 80 in) category went to the Vanguard VKR3200. The Vanguard VR5D-E took out the UV/Latex Flatbed (under $70k) category and the Vanguard VR6D-HS on the UV/Latex Flatbed ($100-$200k) category. Lastly, the Vanguard VR6D-HS White took out the UV/Latex Flatbed + White ($100-$200k) category.

At Printing United, the Durst stand will offer demonstrations of the newly launched P5 500, P5 350 HS and the P5 TEX iSUB, alongside the Vanguard Digital Printing Systems product range.
