APN Outdoor has acquired billboard operator Roadside Attractions from Twisted World.
Founded in 1997, Roadside Attractions has 113 panels throughout the country. APN Outdoor sees the Roadside Attractions portfolio as a sensible purchase the complementary nature of its sites geographically. It includes important markets such as Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch and it gives APN a chance to enhance existing, and to develop new, landowner relationships.
Phil Clemas, managing director, from APN Outdoor New Zealand, says, “Securing the Roadside Attractions billboard assets is a strategic move by APN Outdoor and we are very pleased to have finalised the acquisition. The portfolio complements our existing network very well allowing us to deliver broader, national campaigns and we are looking forward to providing our clients with even more opportunities in the outdoor space.”
The company says the sites it has acquired allow for simple integration with the existing sites it owns and operates. The new sites increase the pipeline for potential digital conversion opportunities; a focus for APN Outdoor in the New Zealand and Australian markets.
APN Outdoor has digital and static assets throughout Australasia. It has engaged a strategic and focused digital growth strategy in both markets.
