More than 100 invited guests attended the Ricoh New Zealand Business Booster in Auckland recently.
The event also celebrated Ricoh’s 10 years in production print. Mike Laursen, the company’s commercial and industrial print manager, emceed the event and he expressed his gratitude to those assembled. He said, “It’s been a busy 10 years and we at Ricoh really want to thank our customers who have supported the company through this decade. We certainly look forward to helping you boost your business even further in the coming decade.”
Guest speaker Josh Drake, general manager of Panhead Custom Ales, provided one of the evening’s highlight. He detailed the company’s journey from “some guys wanting to make money selling beer” to a premium boutique brewing brand worth millions.
The company also provided live video links to the Ricoh Customer Experience Centre in Thailand where technicians ran demonstrations of the new Ricoh Pro T7210 UV flatbed inkjet printer and the Ricoh Pro VC60000 Continuous Feed Inkjet Press. The technicians also answered questions from guests during the links.
Ricoh also took the chance to showcase some of the latest innovations in print, as well as the Ricoh Business Booster programme, treating guests to demonstrations of the Pro C7200x and Pro C9200 production print engines; the wide format Pro L4160 Series Latex Printer and the Ri 6000 direct to garment printer. Additionally, guests viewed examples of printed material highlighting a range of applications including what can be achieved with Ricoh’s fifth colour station.
Guests also learned how EFI Fiery integration and workflow with Ricoh solutions improves efficiency and productivity.
