Auspack will look to bring on more processing suppliers to exhibit, aiming to be a one-stop-shop for processing and packaging equipment when the event takes place from March 24-27 in Melbourne.
TNA Australia, Heat & Control, Walls Machinery, Krones and JL Lennard will return for next year’s show, joined by the international Daxner Pacific, Lothar A Wolf Speizialmaschinen and newcomers Viking Food Solutions and Summit Machinery.
Summit Machinery, active in the vegetable, salad, cheese, meat and nut industries across Australia and New Zealand, says its has been firmly based in processing gear for more than 25 years. Its range includes salad washers, spin dryers, trim tables, conveyors, elevators and ancillary equipment, and it distributes FAM dicers, slicers and shredders; Stumabo industrial machine knife manufacturers, Dofra and Tenrit processing kit for vegetables.
Julie Taylor, general manager of Summit, says, “Summit Machinery believes that AUSPACK will be a good fit for our offerings as any company looking for new packaging solutions has to, in the first-instance, produce the product to be packed.”
Processing and packaging kit maker Viking Solutions will also exhibit its vacuum packaging equipment and materials, dip tanks, shrink packaging, tray seals, film and food labels at the 2015 show. Stuart Mead, director of Viking, says, “The first impression is the last impression and that in a rapidly growing economy, and no one understands this better than owners in the food industry. The Viking XG 680 Automatic Tray Sealer is an inline tray sealer suitable for MAP packing of a large range of products such as cold cuts, meats, poultry, cheese, fresh pasta and ready meals. This is just one of the solutions that we will have on our stand at Auspack 2015.”
