PrintNZ will run health and safety seminars through April and May, covering management of contractors and staff.

Ruth Cobb, general manager for PrintNZ, says the seminars take the form of a toolbox workshop that offers a system to ensure participants can manage contractors and staff appropriately. She says, “Contractor management is a significant issue for many businesses. We all have contractors coming on to our premises or have staff visiting other businesses, so how do you manage the health and safety risks associated with contractors?

“In addition, the seminars will cover the six questions directors, owners, and managers need to be able to answer to fulfil their due diligence requirements under the new legislation. We will also provide an update on the April 1 changes to a number of pieces of employment legislation.
