PrintNZ has completed the workplace safety protocol documents for businesses wanting to return to operation under Alert Level Three and has made them available to the whole industry.

Ruth Cobb, chief executive for PrintNZ, says, “It is a lot of paperwork but Worksafe will have high expectations for the businesses operating at this level and I want to ensure that our industry is well equipped to meet those expectations, and our ability to continue to operate is not compromised.”
The documents comprise:
- Industry Protocols – the overarching principles and minimum standards to meet Worksafe’s requirements for a business to operate safely during Alert Level 3
- A Site Safety Plan that includes more specific details about what you are doing in your business.
- A Return to Work declaration
- An Induction checklist
- A Sign In Register
- Protocol for suspected/confirmed Covid-19 in the workplace
- Manager’s checklist for monitoring
- Covid-19 posters for the workplace
