The conference will be held at the Wairakei Resort in Taupo, and delegates will attend workshops and keynote deliveries across a broad range of topics based on what is most relevant to them.

Boston Print Buyers founder Margie Dana will be the keynote speaker. She has more than 15 years of corporate print buying experience and speaks from the buyer’s perspective.

“When I speak to an audience of printers, I always bring the customer’s perspective – I try to “embody” the Print Customer. It’s great to share buyer trends and insights (plus hopes, dreams, and ’what ifs’) with an audience of printers,” Ms Dana says.

“I’ve found, time after time, no matter where I speak, that printers grab hold of the key suggestions and immediately begin to implement them. My ideas are always practical and affordable. I like the notion of helping open doors between the print community and its customers.
“My ultimate goal is to enlighten, delight, and motivate audiences so that they understand their customers better and come away with practical ways to serve them effectively,” she adds.

“If I can shine a light on the print customer’s perspective while I’m presenting, then I’ve done my job. That’s exactly what I plan on doing when I speak at Conference in October. Since I have a background in print buying (over 15 years), I bring all of that experience to bear when I speak to or write for printers.”
Margie plans to combine business with pleasure while visiting New Zealand in October for the first time.
