PrintNZ has joined TSA, the paper and print industry initiative running the Two Sides environmental and Value of Paper and Print effectiveness campaigns.
Ruth Cobb, general manager for PrintNZ, says, “Our industry delivers value and drives increased sales for our customers, joining the Two Sides and Value of Paper and Print campaigns is an excellent opportunity for our members to embrace the research and collateral to promote and market our industry as a strong, vibrant and relevant media channel.
Kellie Northwood, executive director of TSA, says, “We are delighted to have PrintNZ and the wider New Zealand print community join the campaigns and expand our promotion of the industry across both Australia and New Zealand.”
TSA Limited comprises part of a global and local initiative by companies from the graphic communications industry including forestry, pulp, paper, inks and chemicals, prepress, press, finishing, publishing, printing, envelopes and postal operators. They share a common goal to promote the sustainability and effectiveness of the graphic communications industry. This involves providing users with verifiable information on why print media is an attractive, effective, and sustainable communications medium.
The second campaign, Value of Paper and Print is an effectiveness campaign highlighting the power of print as a media channel that delivers strong sales results.
Cobb says that PrintNZ has brought these education and awareness campaigns, running in Australia, across to New Zealand to drive home the benefits and value of print a sustainable and effective print media.
She says, “This will replace the Print: Part of Life campaign that we have operated for a number of years and enhance the work that was started with that campaign. Bringing part of a global campaign strengthens the messages that we are delivering to our customers and provides much deeper pool of knowledge to access.
To launch the campaign, on May 1, Kellie Northwood will present the Value of Paper and Print Roadshow programme at the PrintNZ Forum and attend the Pride In Print Awards celebrations in Wellington.
