Major industry suppliers manroland, Fuji Xerox, Canon, EFI, Spicers, HP, and Starleaton have recently added their names to next year’s PrintEx15, signalling they wil place their stands alongside the growing supplier line-up set to exhibit at Sydney Olympic Park.
Currie Group, Agfa Graphics, BJ Ball, Dainippon Screen, DES, Ferag, Kayell, Konica Minolta and Bottcher are already aboard for the show, which will run from May 13-15 next year, and is looking like a great event.
Organisers say that PrintEx is the only print expo in Australia for 2015, and will be the last opportunity for decision makers from Australia, New Zealand and the surrounding area to see a range of products on show here for at least another two years.
Phillip Rennell, chair of PrintEx15
Phillip Rennell, chairman of PrintEx15, says, “PrintEx15 will be the focus of the entire industry and the place for everyone involved in the graphic communications sector to come together, gather information, identify trends and opportunities and, perhaps just as importantly, connect with friends and colleagues from around Australia, New Zealand and the wider region.
“We are delighted to have these industry leaders on board. We know from our discussions with them that the new equipment, systems and services that they will be demonstrating at the show will be critical to the ongoing business success of print professionals into the future.
“We are also pleased with the number and quality of the smaller exhibitors, who so often provide the unique and unusual ideas which perfectly complement the larger stands and add extra interest to the show for visitors.”
Next year’s event will co-locate with the wide format exhibition Visual Impact for the first time, meaning the product range on show will span much of the print spectrum.
The National Print Awards presentation dinner is also set for Friday May 15, at nearby Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney Olympic Park.
Print, says Rennell, is still in a state of transition as businesses adjust to rapid changes in communications and the demand for print products, making this a good time for decision makers to see exactly what products, services and options are available.
He says, “It is a challenging time for businesses, but there is a lot to be excited about as well. The opportunity to see so many fantastic offerings under one roof is extremely valuable.
‘There is no question that PrintEx15 will be an important destination for decision makers and an ideal environment for them to learn more and evaluate their options for 2015 and beyond.”
