Interest in this year’s New Zealand Printer Power 50 has heated up as the judging panel has finished its voting for 2018.
The Power 50 winners will be announced at a cocktail evening at Ponsonby Central in Auckland on December 13.
Nominations for the Power 50 came from across the industry but, unlike the inaugural Power 50, judging took through a panel of industry experts. This came about after New Zealand Printer’s new owner Printer Media Group, a subsidiary of major business to business publisher – The Intermedia Group, took on board feedback from the industry. Print industry members said they wanted the Power 50 to work as a peer-voted award to make it more transparent.
Printer Media Group also brought in external auditors PKF to make the process even more transparent, ensuring that the final list represents the will of the industry.
Sponsored by Ricoh New Zealand, the New Zealand Printer Power 50 acknowledges the recent personal and professional achievements of individuals in the industry, from the biggest players to the smaller innovators.
