Gunneberg will discuss how PEFC works; the advantages of certification; and how it is being integrated into New Zealand. Ruth Cobb, general manager of PrintNZ, says, “This is a chance for members of thte New Zealand printing industry to find out what certification would mean for businesses in the printing industry and how you might go about obtaining it. Representatives from the New Zealand Forest Certification Association will attend to answer any questions in this area.”

The seminar runs from 9.30am to 11am on Thursday March 17 at the fifth floor boardroom of the Sky Ciy Convention centre in Auckland.

PEFC, a global scheme providing independent certification of forests, claims status as the largest certification scheme with 272 million hectares and over 750,000 forest owners worldwide. Cobb adds, “If PEFC is something your customers are asking about, or if you are using this to promote sustainable print, then please join us.”
