The printer was briefed to create a packaging range that would instantly set Manuka’s products apart from the hundreds of cosmetic and beauty product companies already well established in the industry,

It used a superfine high-end quality packaging board — with a film laminate finish to create the range and according to Manuka Honey, the product’s success has resulted in several full-range re-prints, additional products being added to the range and completely new ranges being launched.

Pakworld North Island account manager Adam Smith says his company liaised closely with its client and designer Dot to Dot Design to ensure the range would make a lasting first impression.

“Ironically, we believe we have improved the technical aspect of the job with the recent introduction of computer-to-plate at Pakworld.”

Pakworld was the only South Island cartonboard manufacturer awarded a gold medal at this year’s Pride In Print Awards.

A family-owned company, the company has been operating in the printing and packaging business for 27 years.
