The two day conference will focus on all areas of newspaper and commercial web print production, with a special focus on machinery trends, developments and technologies.

Two months out and Pack Print itself has attracted a strong local and international focus for the Asian packaging and printing industry.

Exhibitors include Canon Horizon, Koenig & Bauer, Komori, Lintec, MAN Ferrostaal, Mitsubishi, Muller Martini, Ryobi and Technotrans.

It is being jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia, the Thai Packaging Association and the Thai Printing Association. The organizers expect some 200 exhibitors from 20 countries to take part. Messe Düsseldorf Asia is the subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, the organizer of the leading trade fairs worldwide for the printing and packaging sectors – drupa and interpack.

Thailand is home to an estimated 5,000 printers and supporting service providers, with a total of 120,000 employees. The country uses over two million tons of paper annually.

Printing houses are closely following global trends such as digital printing services, while the presence of numerous international publications has generated demand for high quality printing.

Packaging is a key component of Pack Print International as well as a key contributor to Thailand’s manufacturing industries.
