The mail house has just installed a Morgana UFO folder, through CPI specifically to fold large quantities of A3 sheets to DLE for one client requiring 200,000 sheets a month, but the folder has also enabled the Orange Box to keep all its work in-house, says Stephen.
"We decided on the Morgana because of this one large client. We always had the capacity to fold A4 to DLE but we'd previously outsourced the A3 work and that inevitably held us up."
He says the business has grown so much in the past three years that it now has 10 full-time staff and on average up to 10 casual staff per day. They needed the Morgana to keep the work pumping through.
"With this folder we have now got the ability to run half a million A4 sheets through a day at full capacity if we need it."
