Nutec Digital Ink has added a new offering to its dye sublimation water-based ink range: Aquamarine AQ10-DST-HD ultra-high chroma (UHC) ink.
The company says the new ink has a stable shelf life and suits printing on uncoated and coated papers. Developed for dye sublimation transfer, this ink offers applications for prints on textiles, soft signage, banners, flags, apparel, promotional products and other polyester-coated substrates for high quality indoor decoration.
Jamie Lowndes, managing director of Nutec, says, “This product’s chemistry has resulted in a much higher density ink with a lower liquid deposit requirement thus eliminating the incidence of mottling. When correctly profiled with the right ink limits applied, our customers can achieve a 30 to 40 per cent ink saving resulting in very cost-effective yields. “
The company has that the ink improves productivity through its fast drying capability, enabling high speed printing while delivering vibrant images with lower ink consumption.
Supported by Nutec’s Ink Delivery System Warranty, the ink comes in both bottle and pouch configurations.
