Soeren Lange comes to HAN with nine years experience working for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG in Germany in various roles including his most recent, channel support manager for CtP devices for Scandinavia, the UK and North America. He has also worked with the factory in Kiel as its PR manager and was extensively involved in the market launch of the Suprasetter.

In his new role Soeren will be responsible for all workflow aspects of Prinect and Heidelberg’s CtP offer, says Glenn Plummer, general manager product management & marketing.

Soeren will also make colour management a focus with the anticipated roll out of Inpress Control the latest workflow module for Prinect, which was launched at IPEX last month.

“The real differentiator of Heidelberg’s Prinect workflow solution is its ability to connect all aspects of the production process from creation to delivery of the finished product,” says Lange whose job it will be to create a greater understanding of the tangible benefits Prinect can deliver across the workflow.

“My perception of the Australian and New Zealand markets is that they are more aligned to the mature printing environments of Europe and the US than they are to their Asian neighbours. I intend to focus on the benefits of Prinect and how our customers can implement Prinect to suit their individual needs to drive efficiencies and raise productivity; key factors in remaining profitable in a mature marketplace.”

Of HAN’s CtP offer Lange says: “You only have to look at the advancements in technology in recent years to see that things move fast in pre-press. The high level of activity around the Suprasetter at this year’s IPEX, particularly from Australian and New Zealand customers, is an indication that companies are now ready to move to that next step in CtP.”
