Manroland Sheetfed and manroland web systems have reported a resurgence in new press orders for their web and sheetfed presses since the start of 2015.
The companies say the amount of new business has reached levels not seen for many years, with factories at full capacity. Significantly, this new business comes from a number of different countries; seen as good news for manroland and the industry, as they will not have to rely on the economy of a single country for ongoing support.
In manroland web systems case, it has won new orders for its range of web presses and service upgrades in excess of €100m ($158m) since the start of the 2015. The company says that all segments of the business have enjoyed success.
Among the upcoming installations, it has a number of Lithoman and Rotoman commercial presses, including three 96-page Lithoman press lines, destined for 10 countries. It will also undertake installation of its newspaper presses, including Colorman e:line, Uniset and Cronoman presses, in eight countries.
The company has received orders for its digital finishing solutions, with orders for its FoldLine and FormerLine systems destined for seven countries. The market is now ready and active for the industrial digital printing with digital inkjet presses and manroland web system FoldLine and FormerLine finishing solutions.
Manroland Sheetfed has enjoyed similar success, selling over 200 print units in the past three months to a number of countries, including numerous Roland 700 and a significant number of large format Roland 900 press lines.
Manroland Sheetfed and manroland web systems say they will work to see the success in 2015 flow into 2016.
