The company says its new hot foil stamping module for finishes intricate scripts and designs with all kinds of hot foils at a rate of up to 5,000 sheets per hour, and claims the embossing can be handled in a single throughput.

Marcus Tralau, CEO of KAMA, says, “With these new options, we are offering printers, book binders and die cutters a machine that will enable them to handle the widest range of A3 finishing jobs very flexibly and very profitably. Our customers will be able to exploit the wide range of possibilities hot foil stamping offers to create three-dimensional gloss and tactile effects and use that to distinguish their products from those of their competitors.”

KAMA says this new module works with four separately controlled heating zones and comes with a choice of one or two independently controlled foil feeders. It adds that the hot foil stamping can be carried out within 510 x 360mm (die cutting up to 510 x 380mm). The company also advises that the module can be retrofited by installing it on the top of the ProCut 53, making the die cutter 25cm taller, but no wider.
