PRISM is a well known brand which has been marketed by Colter and Peterson in the US for some time with hundreds of machines installed in the across America and Europe, says PS&M managing director, Rhys Daubé.

This new guillotine will compliment PS&M’s well established Saber guillotine which they have been selling into the New Zealand market for more than 10 years.

He says Colter and Peterson, responsible for the design and build of the heavy duty ‘SABER’ brand of guillotines, have been selling and servicing guillotines for more than 70 years.

“The Prism will bring benefits of European design and engineering with Asian economies of scale as well as American support and technology,” he adds.

Components used in the construction of all Prism guillotines are sourced from well known European manufacturers, Wessel, Lamborghini, Siemens, BIE, Baldor, Telemechanique, IKS and others following the design of European market leaders. All Prisms will have the world famous Microcut controller installed with Touch Screen and CIP 3 / 4 capability”.

“The Prism offers distinctive advantages over other guillotines manufactured in Asia” says Rhys Daubé.

“All the manuals and parts lists are compiled by Colter and Peterson, thereby ensuring they will be easy to understand. In addition Colter and Peterson will be the single point of contact for future service and parts inquiries.”
