Avery Dennison has added three new digital textured wall films to its portfolio: Pure Canvas, Crushed Stone and Natural Stucco. David Newman, senior product manager for Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions in South Asia Pacific, says, “The new textured finishes in the Avery Dennison MPI 2600 Wall Film Series enable customers here to create vibrant custom graphics with attractive textured finishes for interior design, retail and trade show applications.†The company says the new wall graphic films open up creative possibilities for quick, customisable, and affordable wall decoration solutions. Avery Dennison calls them a cost-effective alternative to more expensive natural materials. Newman adds, “The eye-catching combination of convincing nature-inspired textures and vibrant colours takes wall graphics to a whole new level of creative possibilities.†The new MPI 2600 textured polymeric calendered films come in widths of 1.372m and 1.524m for use with solvent, eco/mild solvent, latex and UV curable digital inkjet printers. Suggestions for applications include wall graphics in hotels, commercial spaces, retail areas, exhibitions and other public spaces, for decorative and branding purposes. Avery Dennison says their thickness of either 150 or 200 microns makes them easy to apply, and eliminates the need for a primer. It adds that high opacity ensures that the underlying wall is completely concealed.
