Mouvent, the digital company created by Bobst and Radex, will reveal its first range of label printing solutions next month at Labelexpo.
The hardware includes two high speed seven-colour UV ink printers and a digital inkjet label printer in the narrow web segment. These web presses print on substrates such as paper, self-adhesive labels and flexible materials, with a width of 170 mm to 340 mm. Production speeds can reach up to 100mpm with a native resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi and an optical resolution of 2000dpi.
Martin van Waeyenberge, marketing and sales manager for label machines at Mouvent, says, “We are extremely excited about unveiling our range of label printers to the industry. Digital printing will have an ever-increasing role to play, particularly in label-printing, as the industry fulfils demand for expedited delivery, improved time to market, as well as versioning and personalization, and we want to be at the forefront of that.”
Labelexpo, which takes place from September 25-28 in Brussels, has attracted over 600 exhibitors. Van Waeyenberge says, “Labelexpo 2017 is a fantastic opportunity for Mouvent to introduce ourselves to people who can benefit from the new range of innovative digital printing solutions we have to offer and we are looking forward to four productive days of discussion.”
As well as the new label printing machines on show at Labelexpo, Mouvent has already launched a digital printer for textiles. The company says it has a full product pipeline in development.
