Fuji Xerox New Zealand has appointed Shudesh Mani to the role of graphic arts specialist for the Central North Island.
After 16 years with the company, Mani says he looks forward to taking on the new job. He says, “I started with Fuji Xerox New Zealand straight out of University and have worked in a number of roles from paper supplies across the graphic arts spectrum. Most recently, I have been based in Hamilton working as an account manager.
“Over the years, working with commercial print companies, copy shops and other print businesses has given me a chance to understand their needs. I really enjoy meeting with clients and providing them with solutions that will help them to propel their businesses forward.”
He has seen some major changes in the industry. He says, “In 16 years, we have moved from black and white printing print to colour and the quality of printing has improved more than we could have imagined. The digital production machines we supply represent the evolution of digital production print and Fuji Xerox stands at the forefront of innovation. For example, the Fuji Xerox Iridesse has some of the most exciting advancements we have ever seen and, in a competitive print environment, it gives print companies a distinct edge and point of difference.
“Printing requires many different skills and, as suppliers, we need to help our customers stay ahead of the trends and help them develop their business. In the New Zealand market, Fuji Xerox has real strength in sustainability and the certifications we have gained. It is good for the industry and for the country.”
