Sydney based packaging company tna has launched a high speed production line called Performance 5.0.
The company says Performance 5.0 heralds the introduction of the world’s fastest case packer for flexible bags. Capable of speeds of up to 300 bags per minute, the new tna ropac 5 will make its debut at Interpack in May. Later this year, at Pack Expo, tna will launch robag 5, the latest generation of its vertical form, fill and seal packaging systemr.
Alf Taylor, chief executive at tna, says, “The tna Performance 5.0 is about a lot more than just individual product innovations, it is our vision for the future of food manufacturing. For us, the key to long-term commercial success is to rethink the conventional and invest in technology that sets new benchmarks and doesn’t just meet current industry expectations.
“Our goal is therefore to equip today’s food manufacturers with technology that is capable of the highest speeds as well as continuous improvement, so they’re ready for the next stage of food production. That way, their equipment won’t just meet the requirements of today, but will also easily adapt to their future needs. We are extremely proud of how far we have come until now and cannot wait to demonstrate at this year’s interpack just how much further we can take the industry.”
Interpack takes place in Dusseldorf, Germany from May 6-10.
