Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2018 opens its doors today and will run until May 12 at BITEC in Bangkok.
The Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre will host almost 200 exhibitors, giving visitors an opportunity to meet the industry’s technology manufacturers, see the machinery first-hand, and deepen their industry knowledge at the expert-led on-site conference and seminars.
The show will ferature a raft of solutions. For example,the Epson SurePress L-4533AW digital label press incorporates Epson’s MicroPiezo ink-jet printhead and uses industrial grade Epson SurePress AQ ink. Designed for converters who wish to produce general purpose and specialised labels in short and ultra-short print runs on mainly paper based stocks, it produces output on coated and uncoated substrates with a high colour gamut, high colour accuracy, and outstanding print resolution and precision.
Also on display, the HP Indigo WS6900 digital press. Based on HP’s narrow web platform, it includes HP Indigo’s top-line innovations to print any label job of any run length. Innovations include Pack Ready for Labels for the production of high-resistance labels; new HP Indigo ElectroInk Silver, now commercially available, which delivers metallic effects across a wide color gamut, including Pantone colors; and integration with the HP Indigo GEM embellishment unit, the first fully digital, one-pass label printing and embellishment system for spot, tactile, foil, holograms, mini textures and lamination.
Other companies exhibiting at the show include Konica Minnolta, BST Eltromat, Nilpeter, Luster ands Martin.
