Konica Minolta says it received awards for its bizhub PRO 1200/1200P/1051 series of monochrome digital presses, which demonstrate design features such as the smooth lines of exterior covers that express a clear-cut concept with almost no design limitations. The company adds that its Technology Centre actively develops new technologies that will expand the world of imaging, on the basis of proprietary materials, optical, nano-fabrication and imaging technologies.
David Hawkes, marketing development manager – production at Konica Minolta says, “Our award-winning range of monochrome digital production devices supports our belief in continually providing innovative and inspiring products in the field of imaging. The Good Design Award is further verification that Konica Minolta is leading the way forward.”
The JIDPO receives around 3000 submissions from more than 1000 companies and designers every year for the Good Design Awards and selects those that demonstrate only the most distinguished quality and design integrity, according to Konica Minolta.
The company adds that nearly 70 design experts screen the submissions and select those designs that help build and encourage sound industrial development.
