Konica Minolta launched its latest range of digital presses, the bizhub C1060, C1070 and the 100ppm bizhub C1100, into the New Zealand market last week at the Villa Maria Winery in South Auckland.
A strong turnout saw over 100 guests attending the event, called the Perfect Match, which included special guests Sir Graeme Henry, Al Brown and Sir George Fistonich, who founded Villa Maria. The Perfect Match theme flowed throughout the day focusing on technology excellence, technical capability, premium service and innovation.
Warwick Beban, chief executive officer of Konica Minolta New Zealand, welcomed everyone to the event, saying, “Our purpose is to deliver leading business solutions and services to support our clients’ success. Our culture is based on our customers, our staff and innovative solutions.”
The company has journeyed far from its status as a traditional print company to becoming a business services provider. It wants to become the partner of choice for its customers. Beban talked about the company’s three key streams: print management services; information management services; and integrated business services. He also mentioned how Konica Minolta prides itself in having solutions, service and support that are second to none.
The previous digital production press range won a suite of awards and the new Press range looks to follow suit. Its existing bizhub office range of printers has won BLI awards four years in a row which Beban says is unprecedented in the market, “In terms of technology excellence the awards have been abundant.”
In New Zealand, Konica Minolta is spending $6m on an end-to-end business technology project to deliver greater business excellence. Beban says, “We are ensuring that our business is customer-centric. We are basing our business transformation on the cloud-based platform of Salesforce. From this central application we are integrating other business applications to deliver greater efficiency, productivity and ultimately a greater customer experience.
“Partnerships are key to business success in this changing environment. In New Zealand we are independent which is unique. We source the best possible technology from all over the world to deliver market-leading, tailored solutions for our customers
