3DAP (Digital Data Delivery for Australian Publications) is an industry body endorsed by the Magazine Publishers Association. One of its objectives is to address the needs of a totally digital production environment for the magazine publishing industry, in particular, the workflow required for computer-to-plate.

Jarrod White, national proofing sales manager, Kodak GCG, says: “The certification assures advertisers, prepress suppliers, magazine publishers and printers of the system’s ability to deliver a ‘match’ to current heatset web offset print conditions in the market.”

Matchprint Inkjet brings together two well-known proofing systems, the Integris and Matchprint ProofPro (which it replaces), combining the best of both systems in colour management and accuracy.

It offers the same easy-to-use interface as the popular Veris proofer and is compatible with both Integris and Matchprint media. The Matchprint Inkjet Proofing Solution includes a full line of Matchprint inkjet proofing media for high quality colour, content, imposition and two-sided proofing. A Kodak-designed double-sided media guide is available for improved two-sided printing.

The Matchprint Inkjet Proofing Solution integrates the latest 8-up DOD inkjet printers with Kodak workflow connectivity and colour control. Using the powerful Kodak-developed proofing software, including innovative screening and calibration technologies, customers will benefit from excellent colour accuracy, enhanced image smoothness, quick calibration tools and direct connectivity to Prinergy and Brisque workflow software. Open connectivity to popular creative and prepress applications is also applicable.
