Ruth Cobb, general manager of PrintNZ and member of the SALMA executive, says, “New Zealand has participated in the World Label Awards for several years now. I think this is most award that New Zealand companies have won in a single year. They received eight awards from the 22 categories. For a country this small to take out so many awards is simply outstanding.”
The L9 group of international label associations includes FINAT (Europe), TLMI (USA), JFLP (Japan), FPLMA (Australia), SALMA (New Zealand), PEIAC (China) and LMAI (India), Each year these organisations invite companies to submit entries for the World Label Awards, with judging taking place in Brussels the day before Labelexpo Europe.
