Immediate past managing director of KBA Australasia Pty Ltd based in Sydney, Burton is now New Zealand-based and consulting to the Australasian subsidiary.

Nova Inks & Chemicals, one of New Zealand’s leading suppliers of sheetfed, heatset inks and consumables, will provide KBA with a nationwide team of sales and technical staff to identify opportunities, and liaise with Burton to help provide a path to successful installations.

Nova will also provide KBA with additional support in the form of warehousing required for spare parts, and floor space for technical presentations and meetings where necessary.

The Koenig & Bauer Group is a market leader in the manufacture of printing presses, with primary production plants in Würzburg, Frankenthal, and Radebeul, Germany and employs 8000 people worldwide.

Its innovative approach has resulted embraces a wide a variety of printing processes, and its press range includes the Performa and Rapida sheetfed presses, Karat digital offset, Compacta heatset presses from 16- to 64-page and an innovative range of conventional and waterless newspaper presses.
