Gareth Kiernan, managing director at Infometrics, will address the conference as part of its business section. He’ll cover topical issues affecting domestic growth, the world economic outlook, export conditions and monetary policy.
As general manager of the economics team at Infometrics, Kiernan involves himself in producing the firm’s regular forecasts and news analysis service, providing regular updates on trends in economic data for clients. While his primary areas of expertise are financial markets and the building and property sector, he also prepares specific presentations to clients on the economic outlook relevant to their industry.
He holds a masters degree in economics from the University of Canterbury.
