Imagetext’s managing director Darius Mistry says it is an important step forward for the company because it completes the suite of products from Smart Solutions up to version 2.0, giving it one of the strongest ad agency and corporate marketing product suites in Australasia.

The Smart Solutions product range is a web based suite specifically developed for advertising agencies and marketing departments.

The suite includes Filestor 2.0 a Digital Asset Management System, Adworks a template based artwork production tool, JAS 2.5 a softproofing tool for artwork approval and the “jewel in the crown” X-changer 2.0 for collaborative page make up.

Russell Hibbert managing director of Smart Solutions Group in Melbourne said: “The product completes this stage of development for the product line. The entire suite is now centrally managed with one point of user and group management, one location for branding and a consistent user interface.”

Imagetext’s Technical Director John Preisig added: “The fact that all products have a consistent user interface means that deployment is cut to a minimum, end user training can be as little as 30 minutes. Also the smarts in the products don’t require any application specific web plug-ins which is critical for access to many corporate desktops.”

Adworks integrates into Adobe Indesign via a plug-in.
