In his new role Jacob, who will be based in Singapore, will be responsible for IFRA activities in South Asia, South & North East Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Reiner Mittelbach, CEO of IFRA says, “We plan to significantly expand our services in the region, and Jacob’s appointment clearly reflects the importance of the aforementioned markets for the future of IFRA.”

Before joining IFRA, Jacob worked for Associated Newspapers Limited as the International Development Director, where he conceptualised a compact mid-market newspaper for India.

Jacob earned an MBA with high honours from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. He is a trained engineer in electronics and telecommunications, having graduated from the prestigious National Institute of Technology, in India.

Jacob also underwent advanced studies in computer networking at ICIS in Singapore.
