Continuing the theme “Connect for Success” Heidelberg’s Prinect workflow will be a key element of the technology on show. These open CIP4 / JDF connectivity applications covering Management information, Production data and Colour control advanced at Ipex with new applications such as Press Room Manager now part of the package.
New press technology such as the revolutionary Anicolor inking system as well as special applications surrounding coating, UV and inline finishing will be covered in the presentation. Post Press innovations will also be represented. Heidelberg has also planned to show the benefits of new technology at after hours demonstrations at its Mt Wellington showroom.
Here, Heidelberg will demonstrate the productivity gains that modern automated presses have made through short make ready, quality and press speed. This will be achieved utilising a range of equipment emulating a small A3 jobbing shop and will appeal to smaller printers considering upgrading their machines to take advantage of higher productivity.
