Direct to garment printer supplier DTG Digital will unveil its new M3 garment printer, at Fespa next week, promising a 30 per cent increase in productivity.
DTG Digital has completed over 8000 installations of direct to garment printers, Impression Technology currently manufacture the DTG Digital range. Steve Richardson, chief executive at DTG, says the new printer delivers greater efficiency, ease of operation and maintenance.
He says, “With a rise in volume digital print demands from our customer base we felt we needed to respond and offer more productive equipment within an acceptable capital investment bracket.
New: the M3 garment printer
“Customers want to print volume orders reliably. We have worked hard to bring about what we believe is the most rugged printer with far less maintenance at a better price point in the market.”
The company has aimed the printer at volume demand, equipping it with a new 4-2-1 garment platen system which can print three XXXXL oversized garments plus six standard garments; or 12 smaller garments in one system, reducing the need for multiple platens in production. DTG says, “The 4-2-1 platen system drastically increases flexibility and productivity allowing more opportunities for profit making volume print production requirements.”
For release at Fespa, which takes place on March 8 to 11 in Amsterdam, the new printer will also be available on limited release through the DTG Digital website.
