Heidelberg subsidiary Gallus has sold its 100th Labelmaster, which will go to French company Interfas.
The conventional eight-colour press offers a printing width of 440mm and eight flexographic printing units with three die-cutting units and integrated cold foil finishing.
Interfas will primarily use the press for the production of self-adhesive labels. Christof Naier from Heidelberg/Gallus, says, “With this investment the company has made a future-safe investment because now they are able to response to new applications or changed job requirements.”
Gallus says its Labelmaster offers consistently high print quality; minimal paper waste due to very short web path of 1.4m between printing units; printing speeds up to 200 metres per minute; short set up times; precise and stable register accuracy; die-cut at any position; and intuitive operation.
The 100th sales marks the Labelmaster as Gallus’s highest achieving machine system, in terms of sales figures, since its market launch at Labelexpo Europe 2017.
