Fujifilm’s Ipex stand witnessed an unprecedented event of crowds gathering to view the new Brillia HD Pro-T processless thermal plate, with live demonstrations and a technology viewing of the new Brillia HD Pro-V chemistry-free violet plate which will be available 2007.

These two plates will be on show at Printech, with Fuji GSA saying that the Pro-T thermal processless plate offers no productivity loss, no gumming and no quality loss.

For Fujifilm Celebrant users, details of a new web-based remote approval solution will also be available with version 6.1 which will be demonstrated.

Also at Printech will be a demonstration of Fujifilm’s new approach to workflow which embraces the new Adobe PDF Print Engine. The new workflow (yet to be named) promises to deliver production efficiencies with increased automation, new approval solutions, crossmedia printing and business efficiencies with migration paths for existing Fujifilm and non-Fujifilm workflow users.

On the CTP device side, Fujifilm will have technical details on its new Luxel V-8 Series B1 Violet CTP devices. The HS model delivers high speed productivity of 50 B1 plates per hour at 2400 dpi. The HD model delivers high definition quality using “Pure Beam Technology” giving 1-99% reproduction at 200 linescreen in conjunction with the latest Brillia LP-NV2 violet photopolymer plate.
