The final preparations for New Zealand’s largest food manufacturing, packaging and processing technology trade show have ended and organisers expect a solid turnout when they open the doors to Food Tech Packtech tomorrow morning at 10am.
Returning to the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland, the show will host more than 220 local and global suppliers ranging across three halls at Greenlane. Visitors can expect to see a comprehennsive range of technology on display.
Foodtech Packtech will also play host to a number of industry seminars and presentations from experts in their respective fields. These include Alan Adams who will present next generation case-ready protein packaging; Eli Gray-Stuart, mathematical modelling as a tool to inform packaging design; and Cather Simpson, food, farms and photons.
Panel discussions will cover topics like understanding sustainable packaging innovations and trends with panellists Carol Lawrence, Anthony Peyton, and James Romhany
Organisers say that free registration online means no long waiting to enter the event. The New Zealand Food Awards gala dinner, showcasing the best of New Zealand’s Food industry, will take place after Foodtech Packtech.
