The new Wohlenberg line has been specified with the latest technology available to provide their clients with both high quality and a highly versatile service. The twenty station Sprinter 7011 gatherer will be fitted with a number of quality control systems including image recognition and calliper control to ensure only correctly assembled books are bound.
The Champion s binder has a maximum speed of 8,000 books per hour, and is fitted with special multiple knives to provide optimum spine preparation. Fintech will now be able to offer their customers the choice of either conventional hot melt or PUR gluing which provides enhanced binding performance.
The line will be completed with a 60i three knife trimmer with automated make-ready, the first of this model to be installed here, and an OMG Cucciolo compensating stacker.
