Marcus Timson, exhibition director says, “The show will go on! Registrations continue to swell and we are looking forward to a superb event.”
Due to the political demonstrators having taken residence in the main international airport it has been temporarily closed, with very few flights coming in and out. This is presenting a serious problem for international visitors, who are now unable to get into the country by air. The old Don Muang airport is open, but this is mainly handling domestic flights. Reports suggest that the demonstrators show no sign of moving, in what has become a stand-off with the government.
The event organiser is recommending that before leaving for your airport to come to Thailand, to check with your airline and with the government as to whether you are still comfortable with travelling to Bangkok.
