DPW organisers say that this year’s successful Ipex show has given exhibitors confidence in the worldwide buoyancy of the digital printing market. The show is now in its fourth year and will be held at Earls Court, London, from October 17-19.

It is widely recognised as one of the few dedicated digital print shows worldwide and is aimed at fostering business transactions between key suppliers in the digital print market and their customers.

Canon, Kodak, Renz, Danwood, Watkiss and Duplo have all substantially increased their stand space at the DPW trade show because of the volume of equipment they have to display. Some will have several new product launches.

According to a report by Pira International, the worldwide digital print market is set to be worth EUR 124.8 billion by 2015. It predicts that from 2005 to 2015, more digital reproduction devices will be sold than any other technology.

Pat Holloway, UK marketing manager, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group says: “We are experiencing strong demand across our range of digital technologies, so a focused showcase like DPW is a great opportunity to highlight Kodak’s value proposition in this important area. It will also be an ideal occasion for us to demonstrate how vital it is to look beyond the hardware, by showing the benefits customers can gain from implementing integrated workflow solutions and from applications such as web-to-print.”

Adam Poole, marketing, Canon UK&I adds: “Our objective at DPW this year is to launch more of the new technology we showed at IPEX. The two exhibitions work hand in hand for us and our attendance at these events gives the industry a chance to once again see our commitment to the printing industry as a whole. Our new product range is one of the best in the industry and includes the Image Press 7000 and new wide format and software products that visitors to DPW will be able to order.”
