Harald Lutsch of 3D Images focused on the function of lenticular film. On the background of his experience over many years, the talk dealt with producing animations and effects, and with the conditions required for optimum results in prepress and printing. Many print samples of actual jobs were passed around and met with great interest. The different film types were presented by Daniel Pierret of LPC.
During the practical part that followed, a ROLAND 500 was used to print on lenticular film. The resultant excellence of colour register and printing quality was apparent to all the participants. In conclusion, the experts discussed their ideas and experience in connection with lenticular film and how this expertise can be implemented in their respective operations.
