Print NZ has extended the entry deadline to February 15, 2023, for this year’s edition of Pride in Print Awards.
The Pride in Print Awards turn 30 this year, and entries are still open for these milestone awards. There will be special 30-year medals awarded at the Gala Dinner, which is scheduled to take place in Auckland on 23 June at the Cordis Hotel.
“In recognition of the difficulties many businesses in the North Island have faced over the last few weeks, we are extending the Awards entry deadline to 15 March to give everyone time to put their entries in,” cited the association.
Established in 1993 to promote excellence in print in New Zealand, the Pride in Print Awards have been a pinnacle of recognition year after year for the best visual print communication products produced in New Zealand. They embody a culture of excellence aimed at meeting and exceeding the customer’s needs and continuously pushing boundaries.
It is in the commercial marketplace where Pride in Print delivers its greatest tangible reward. Each industry sector is covered, with expert panels of judges analysing every entry.
Judging is based on technical excellence in all facets of the production process, typography and good design, allowing specialists to make judgements based on the potential and the limits of processes and the materials and equipment used.
In addition to celebrating print, the association has also introduced Business Awards, intended to highlight the businesses that are driving the industry’s future in three categories – sustainability, wellness and innovation.
