The New Zealand company was re-launched after the sale of its paper division last year and has changed its name and corporate signage accordingly.
CPI has taken on board two new engineers, a new technical sales rep and business manager who will all be based out of its new George Bourke Drive offices.
Electrical engineer Kevin Jonas takes up the position of field service engineer electrical and will concentrate on the maintenance and installation of printing presses and finishing equipment.
Jonas has been involved in the printing industry for 15 years and comes from Carter Holt Harvey looking after printing and packaging machinery including large die cutting machines. He says he is looking forward to the new challenge at CPI.
New service engineer Kerry Dawson has had 12 years in the industry specialising in maintenance diagnostics. He was the sole engineer for the printing department a Hutamaki’s Henderson plant in West Auckland.
At CPI he will specialise in the maintenance and servicing of printing machinery from presses to bindery equipment.
Adam MacDonald, a qualified printer has been involved in the printing industry here and in Australia for 17 years, more recently specialising in 8-colour presses. He has taken up a position as a technical sales rep for the ink division and says he is excited about the opportunity to diversify within the printing industry in New Zealand.
