The squadron of three helicopters is supplied by Microflite Moorabbin, and are the latest luxury French-manufactured Eurocopter model. Flights will be leaving at 15-minute intervals throughout PacPrint from both Braeside, and the Helipad opposite the MEC, for the 10-minute trip.
The flights go on a scenic run down the Yarra river, around the MCG and Tennis Centre, with a right turn over Government House, where CPI says you may see the Governor in the luxurious gardens mowing the lawn. Continuing on across Albert Park Lake there is a birds-eye view of the Grand Prix track, before heading south for the landing pad at CPI’s head office and showroom facilities.
Gerard Wintle, national machinery manager at CPI says, “We may have to consider a fourth helicopter to move the number of people who have been calling us. Already we have booked in excess of 500 people for the return flights.”
